Marek Popiołek
Deputy Director, Department of Electromobility and Innovation, Ministry of Climate and Environment
Graduate of law at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University and international economic relations at the Warsaw School of Economics. Since the beginning of his professional career, he has been involved in public administration. His previous responsibilities included negotiating the location of investment projects of foreign concerns in Poland and coordinating the process of Poland's application for the rights to organize the EXPO exhibition in Łódź.
In the department, he oversees the topic of electromobility, the scope of which includes measures to reduce emissions from transportation, development of alternative fuels infrastructure and the creation of a legal and financial framework to support this new area of the economy.
